Billy Idol will be at the Mary Brown’s Centre.
Idol, who achieved widespread success in the 1980s, will come to St. John’s as part of his cross-Canada Rebel Yell Tour.
Idol’s most well-known hits include Mony Mony, Rebel Yell, White Wedding and Eyes Without a Face.
He will perform in St. John’s on August 25, with Platinum Blonde opening up for him.
Idol’s stop in St. John’s is the latest in what’s shaping up to be quite a summer concert season.
Iceberg Alley has numerous bands lined up to perform under the big top in June including Blue Rodeo, Barenaked Ladies, Marianas Trench, and Billy Talent.
And the Churchill Park Music Festival has three sold-out Shania Twain performances on tap for mid-August.
