The St. John’s Board of Trade and Employers’ Council have come up with a funding program to help small business with the recent minimum wage increase.
The program is expected to provide financial assistance to some 600 businesses across the province.
The official announcement is set for Friday morning at Bannerman Brewing in St. John’s.
Labour Minister Bernard Davis, AnnMarie Boudreau of the Board of Trade and Judy Sparkes-Giannou will be on hand.
