Those who have been hurt or killed on the job will be honoured next week during a ceremony marking the National Day of Mourning.
The day is recognized across Canada every year on April 28 to bring awareness of unsafe conditions and practices taking place in the workplace.
A ceremony is set to take place in the lobby of Confederation Building next Sunday at noon.
