It’s labelled as a night of laughter and fun, and it’s coming to the Mary Brown’s Centre tomorrow night.

Comedian Rick Mercer and singer Jann Arden, who have teamed up to share stories on stage in cities across the country, are taking their act to St. John’s.

Arden had been a guest on Mercer’s show on CBC TV and since they each had written a book, with the same publisher, decided to do a book signing together in Vancouver. Hundreds turned out so the duo took to the stage in Toronto, again selling some 1100 tickets.

But Mercer was pretty antsy during the first show as he prefers to be well prepared prior to an appearance. Jann Arden perhaps less so.

“I wanted to strangle her because I had no idea what I was doing but the night flew by and its was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had on stage,” says Mercer.

The “Will They Or Won’t They” tour plays tomorrow night at the Mary Brown’s Centre.
