Bill Broderick has withdrawn his name from the FFAW leadership race.
Now, Broderick is encouraging membership to throw their support behind Abe Solberg.
Broderick first announced his intention to run just over two weeks ago.
Since that time, two other candidates have put their names forth and, after speaking with Solberg, he was impressed with that man’s knowledge and vision for the industry.
Broderick states that Solberg’s vision is much like his own, and his “youthful energy will be a great asset to the organization.”
Broderick is encouraging people to “reject the politics of negativism and division within [the] organization and re-examine how [they] relate to other stakeholders” so members can reap the benefits of the industry.
Dwan Street is also seeking the presidency of the FFAW.
