A 63-year-old man from Isle aux Morts was arrested and charged following a violent altercation in Benoit’s Cove.
Police were called Sunday afternoon as the result of a reported disturbance on Main Street.
By the time police arrived, the man in question had left the scene in a vehicle.
Police arrested the suspect on charges of criminal harassment, uttering threats and causing a disturbance. He was held in custody pending a court appearance.
