A couple of drivers in debt to the Crown were taken off metro roadways yesterday.
Just after 10 Sunday morning, RNC officers patrolling the Topsail Road area recognized a driver who had been barred from being behind the wheel.
The 41-year-old man, who had a suspended novice license, had racked up over $11,000 in traffic fines.
Later that day, officers got a glimpse of another frequent offender pulling out of the parking lot of the Waterford Hospital.
Officers flashed the lights and the 43-year-old man, who owed nearly $13,000 in fines, was issued more tickets.
Both men are set to appear in court at a later date.
