A woman who tried to get too involved in the RNC’s work is in the lockup this morning.
Police in downtown St. John’s were in the middle of arresting a 38-year-old man around 2:30 a.m. when the woman got in the way and attempted to disarm an officer.
There were no injuries. The 40-year-old was then taken into custody and charged with obstructing a peace officer and attempting to disarm a police officer.
She was held for court.
