A new program designed to help prepare young children for kindergarten is launching early in the new year.

Back to Basics in Mount Pearl is introducing a Kinder Prep program.

Spokesperson Cora Pike says it’s about preparing budding young scholars emotionally for the transition to school.

It’s not just about academic readiness says Pike, “but also about nurturing their curiosity, their confidence, and their love for learning.”
