The calendar had barely turned over to 2025 when Newfoundland and Labrador boasted its first new year’s baby.
Charlotte Dorothy MacRoberts was the first baby born at a NL Health Services health-care facility in 2025. Charlotte was born on January 1 at 1:39 a.m. at the Health Sciences Centre.
NL Health congratulates parents Allison and Mark MacRoberts of St. John’s.
“We’d also like to extend a special thank you to the medical team who helped bring Charlotte into the world,” said the health authority.
