A 27-year-old man spent the night in the lockup after assaulting someone at a home in the east end.
RNC were called to the home around 8:00 last night and found a person with injuries. The victim did not require medical treatment.
The suspect had left the home by time police showed up, but he was located in short order and arrested.
He was held to appear in court on a charge of assault.
