A man on the RNC’s wanted list tried to scramble last night, but his attempt to flee was anything but smooth.
Police tracked down the wanted man inside a car in the parking lot of a business in the east end just before 7:30 last evening.
When officers got out to approach the vehicle, the man hit the gas and tried to fly over the curb—except he got himself stuck in a snowbank.
Police were then able to take the 42-year-old into custody on weapons charges, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, flight from police, and several breaches.
The man, who had no valid license or registration, was also issued several traffic tickets. He was held for court.
