A happy ending to the search for a snowmobiler from Nain who was reported overdue.
RCMP say the man, who was traveling alone, left Nain Thursday morning to cut wood, but worried loved ones contacted RCMP around 9:30 last night after he failed to return as expected.
RCMP say Nain Ground Search and Rescue were called into action and searched throughout the night.
The snowmobiler was located, safe and sound this morning by members of the search team.
The man had sought shelter in a local cabin after running into mechanical problems with his machine.
RCMP are thanking Nain Ground Search and Rescue for a successful search and for their dedicated work.
