A 14-year-old is facing some serious charges after an incident at a school in St. John’s.

Police say they were called to the metro school after one student threatened another Friday afternoon.

Police later found that the student had a suspected weapon.

The male has now been charged with uttering threats and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

He’ll appear in court at a later date.
