Canada’s Agriculture Day is being celebrated today with an event in Corner Brook, hosted by the NL Federation of Agriculture and the provincial government.
Those involved in today’s event at the Blomidon Golf Club include Agriculture Minister Gerry Byrne, Vice-President of the NL Federation of Agriculture, Andy Wright, and Terri Lynn Robbins of Women in Agriculture, among others.
The NL Federation of Agriculture is encouraging Newfoundlanders and Labradorians to “raise a fork” and celebrate local products and the people who work hard to bring us the food we eat.
