The town of Stephenville is clarifying its position on snowclearing assistance at Dymond International Airport.

The town was asked to plow the runways while parts for their equipment were ordered.

The town clarifies that they have helped the airport with snowclearing on two occasions, totaling nine-and-a-half hours, while their snowblower was temporarily out of service.

The town says no further assistance has been requested or planned at this time
