Premier Andrew Furey may be stepping down to return to private life and the medical field, but he’s not shutting the door to another political foray in the future.
Furey told reporters last week that he’s open to the possibility should the opportunity present itself again and offered a hint by testing out his French language skills, something he’s been studying for a while.
He indicated that he might consider another run, depending on his family commitments and where they are in their lives at that time.
