Memorial University will introduce its new president in a media event this morning at 10:30.
The search for a new president began following the resignation of Vianne Timmons who courted controversy with spending in the president’s office and false claims of Indigenous ancestry.
The new president will be named in a live broadcast to the university community at 10:30 this morning from the Marine Institute.
VOCM News will be there.
The new president will assume her new position on August 11.
