RCMP in Sheshatshiu are searching for a 40-year-old wanted on a number of charges at this hour.
Simon Andrew is wanted on multiple charges stemming from an incident on Tuesday.
Some of the charges include sexual assault, two counts each of aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, forcible confinement and mischief under $5000.
Police believe Andrew could be in Sheshatshiu or Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
