A former city councilor who went to the House of Assembly in a byelection last year is one of two new faces in cabinet.
Jamie Korab takes on a new role, the minister of families and affordability.
He says he heard many concerns about the cost of living while campaigning. Korab says government has already instituted some measures such as cutting the gas tax and taking tax off insurance. He will be looking at going a step further.
He wants to sit down withy stakeholders because there are cost of living challenges throughout the entire province.
Sherry Gambin-Walsh, who used to be in cabinet under Dwight Ball, is back in as the minister of women and gender equality.
