The Newfoundland and Labrador Folk Festival has unveiled a new feature as part of this July’s 49th annual event.
The Equinor Community Village will spotlight more intimate, small tent performances during the daytime, something that the NL Folk Festival says sets it apart from other festivals.
The Equinor Community Village will feature five tents including the popular Neil Murray Stage for young artists aged 7 to 18, the Traditions Tent, Family Tent, Francophone Tent and Instrumental Tent.
The NL Folk Festival runs from July 11-13 in Bannerman Park.
