The burning restrictions in the metro region will continue for at least another couple of days.
The St. John’s Regional Fire Department instituted the ban on outdoor fires last week, and has extended it until Thursday.
The ban covers St. John’s, Mount Pearl and Paradise but neighbouring towns are following suit.
