Province to Reveal Expanded Medical Travel Aid With Hope Air This Morning

The provincial government will announce a new partnership today involving Hope Air and the Medical Transportation Assistance Program.

Hope Air is a national charity that provides free flights, accommodations, airport ground transportation, and meal vouchers for those who must travel for medical care.

Labrador Affairs Minister Lisa Dempster will be joined by representatives of Hope Air at the airport in Happy Valley-Goose Bay for the announcement at 11 a.m. VOCM News will have more details as they become available.
