RCMP in Happy Valley-Goose Bay have tracked down a man wanted in connection with an attempted armed robbery in the town.
Thirty-seven-year-old Kieran Alexander Pardy, more commonly known as Alex Pardy, was cited in connection with an incident at Da Shed Pub last week.
RCMP attempted to arrest Pardy on Monday, but he took off in a vehicle in a dangerous manner.
A “shelter in place” order was issued that evening when he was reportedly seen on Green Street with a firearm.
Pardy was arrested last night on a long list of charges:
– Robbery with a firearm
– Disguise with intent to commit and offence
– Pointing a firearm
– Assault with a weapon
– Resisting/obstructing a police officer
– Flight from police
– Operation while prohibited
– Failure to comply with conditions of release order
– Failure to comply with probation order
