A St. John’s man has been arrested and charged with assault following an incident in St. John’s on Thursday.
The incident happened at a home on Monroe Street around 3:30 p.m.
RNC officers were met by a woman outside the home who had multiple physical injuries.
A suspect in the incident had left the scene on foot, but was located nearby.
Now, 47-year-old Michael Pippy has been charged with assault, assault with a weapon, and two counts of breaching probation. He was held for court.
