Three people, including a young person, is in custody after a break-in at a home in downtown St. John’s last night.
RNC were called to the home as the incident was unfolding around 11:30. As officers were searching the area, three men took off on foot.
They managed to make it a few streets over before police caught up with the trio and arrested them.
A young person has been charged with break and enter, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a prohibited substance.
A 37-year-old man has been charged with break and enter and uttering threats, while an 18-year-old is facing charges of break and enter and disguise with intent.
All three have been held for a court appearance.
