The Orangestore Canada Games torch relay is continuing to make its way through the province, and today celebrations are being held in Gander.
The relay will start at 11 a.m. at Kinsmen Baseball Field, with everyone making their way to Cobbs Pond Rotary Park about 40 minutes later.
Once there, an event will be held until 1:30 featuring local entertainment, games, a bouncy castle, and a food truck.
Similar events are being held tomorrow in Clarenville, and Saturday in Whitbourne.
THURSDAY, JULY 17 – LET’S GO GANDER:
Orangestore Torch Relay starting at Kinsmen Baseball Field at 11am – come cheer on the local torch bearers!!
They will make their way to the CELEBRATION location at the Cobbs Pond Rotary Park at around 11.40am

FRIDAY, JULY 18 – LET’S GO CLARENVILLE
Orangestore Torch Relay starting at THE ORANGESTORE at 11am in Clarenville
The Torchbearers will make their way to Elizabeth Swan Park for around 11.30am
Come see the 2025 ORANGESTORE TORCH, meet the Torchbearers and some local dignitaries
Celebration event runs until around 1.30pm… includes local entertainment, a local dance performance, face painting, games and prizes from the Orangestore…..a photo opp with the Orangestore Canada Games Torch
Come celebrate the spirit of the 2025 Canada Games coming to NL and come fuel the CLARENVILLE SPIRIT
SATURDAY, JULY 19 – LET’S GO WHITBOURNE
Orangestore Torch Relay starting at THE Whitbourne Historic Museum, follow them along their journey
The Torchbearers will make their way to Sir Robert Bond Park for around 11.30am..
Come see the 2025 ORANGESTORE TORCH, meet the Torchbearers and some local dignitaries
Celebration event runs until around 1.30pm… includes local entertainment, a BBQ hosted by the local fire department, a large cake cutting, games and prizes from the Orangestore, a photo opp with the Orangestore Canada Games Torch…..
