The provincial government says it plans on adding more services for businesses through its MyGovNL website.
The minister, Sarah Stoodley, says the province aims to reduce pressure on offices across the province and simplify access to government services.
The department also clarified that there are no plans to eliminate in-person services for business owners.
“Over the next year, we’re going to be doing lots of consultation with businesses,” she said. “We’re going to be taking services for businesses and moving them into MyGovNL and working with the business community to make sure that we can respond to the things that they need and want to do electronically.”
