A man who was under orders to stay put at home is facing firearms charges after a bit of an unusual incident yesterday.
Officers on patrol in CBS thought it was suspicious when they noticed a vehicle stopped in the middle of the road for no reason in broad daylight.
When the driver noticed police, he hit the gas and tried to get away.
He pulled into a driveway and then tried to take off on foot, but did not get very far.
RNC identified the 47-year-old as someone who was on strict conditions not to leave his home and was barred from driving.
Police also found a firearm in the back of his vehicle.
He was held for court on firearms related charges and breaching a court order.
