RCMP are crediting one of their K-9 constables with finding some dangerous drugs last week.
Police executed a search warrant on a home in Grand Falls-Windsor around lunchtime last Friday, August 1st.
That’s when police service dog Noah was brought in and put to work, searching the house and other buildings on the property.
That resulted in the seizure of cocaine, Zopiclone, used to treat insomnia, a fake hand gun, cash, and other drug-related items.
A 26-year-old man was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
He was released from custody to appear in court at a later date.
