Premier John Hogan has called a news conference for noon to give an update on the wildfire situation.
There are currently three out-of-control wildfires burning in the province. The largest is the wildfire in Conception Bay North. There is also one that has been growing off the Bay d’Espoir Highway near Grand Falls Windsor, and there is one near Holyrood – but there has been minimal growth with that one.
The news conference is slated for 12 p.m. It will be available to view live on our website.
