Recreational boaters and those who are fishing in Conception Bay are asked to be mindful of some changes coming into effect today because of the Canada Games.
The sailing competition will be plying waters between Manuels River and Little Bell Island from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm each day until next Saturday.
Others who are on the water are asked keep a respectful distance from the race courses.
Access to Long Pond will be restricted from the north, but open to boaters from the south and west. The public boat launch at Greenslade’s Road will also be unavailable and inaccessible for the next seven days.
