Foster Families NL is launching a new initiative this month to recognize those who provide care to children across the province.
Its inaugural retreat “ROOTED” will take place the weekend of August 22-24 at the Springwood Outdoor Discovery Camp near Holyrood.
The retreat will off workshops, peer connection, wellness activities, and nature-based experiences.
Kelli Hodder, executive director of Foster Families NL, says the new annual tradition will create a space where foster parents feel grounded and appreciated.
