The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is investigating after numerous shots were fired in a commercial area of Paradise early Sunday morning.
Police were called to the area of Topsail Road and Carlisle Drive just after 2:00 a.m.
The suspect vehicle, a black Ford Edge, fled the scene just before police arrived, and was found abandoned in downtown St. John’s around 5:30 Monday morning.
The shooting is believed to be a targeted incident. There were no injuries, but there was damage to multiple vehicles and one business.
Anyone with information, including video footage from the area from Topsail Road to the Kenmount Road Interchange, and Carlisle Drive between 1:15 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. Sunday is asked to contact the RNC at 709-729-8000.
