Twillingate RCMP are investigating following the death of a woman in Summerford, on New World Island yesterday.
The 30-year-old woman was found unresponsive in the water, and was transported to hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The investigation is ongoing, and the office of the chief medical examiner has been engaged.
