A flight was diverted to Gander overnight Thursday after a passenger allegedly attacked a person with whom she was travelling.
Twenty-three-year-old Julia Finn-Mattai, from the United Kingdom, appeared in court Friday on two charges of assault and one charge of interfering with a crew member.
The RCMP have called in the Canada Border Services Agency to assist with the investigation. They are asking anyone with video of the incident to contact them at 709-256-6841.
