A 39-year-old man from Bayview, Twillingate has been charged with driving without insurance after two vehicles, both belonging to the same man, were recently impounded in separate incidents.
Twillingate RCMP say officers came upon a broken-down Hyundai Sonata on the Road to the Isles in Summerford around 4:30 Saturday morning.

The car, which was registered to a man who did not have insurance, was seized and impounded.
On Monday afternoon, a Polaris ATV was pulled over by police on the main road through Bayview and they determined that the same man, who was driving the machine, did not have insurance.
The ATV was also impounded, and the man was charged with driving without insurance.
