RCMP in Bay St. George have arrested and charged a 44-year-old St. John’s man following an incident in Stephenville.

Police say Dylan Ryan was arrested around 10:00 p.m. last Saturday, August 23rd, in connection with an investigation into a complaint of threats made earlier the same day.

RCMP says Ryan was found in possession of cannabis and illicit pills at the time of his arrest.

A search warrant of Ryan’s Stephenville residence resulted in the seizure of more illicit drugs and items consistent with drug trafficking. Ryan is facing charges of uttering threats and two counts of failure to comply with a release order.

He’s also been charged with one count of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

He was held in custody pending a court appearance.
