Holyrood RCMP are seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating an off-road vehicle involved in a hit and run that sent a person to hospital with serious injuries.

Police were called after a pedestrian was struck around 2:30 yesterday afternoon on the Northside Road in Holyrood. Initial reports indicated that the dirt bike involved did not stop, and sped away toward the Conception Bay Highway.

RCMP say the dirt bike may be blue and should have damage.

The victim’s injuries are serious, but not believed to be life-threatening.
