Newfoundland and Labrador Housing is looking for someone to build a 40-unit apartment building in Pleasantville.
To be located on St. John’s Place on the corner of Charter Avenue, the structure would feature one and two bedroom apartments. It will also include space for future commercial and supportive services on the ground floor.
The design and focus will be on providing residential housing with an emphasis on serving seniors and persons with disabilities. Eight units will be fully wheelchair accessible.
NLHC hopes to award the contract next month.
