Police are seeking the public’s help in their investigation of a hit-and-run collision in St. John’s yesterday that resulted in serious injuries.
The incident occurred on New Penneywell Road just before noon on Friday. The RNC says a 37-year-old man operating an electric scooter was struck by a vehicle that then fled the scene.
The scooter operator was transported to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators are asking anyone with information, including video footage from the area of New Penneywell Road between Brier Avenue and Barkham Street between 11:30 a.m. and noon, to contact the RNC or Crime Stoppers.
