The provincial government is helping out the Braya Renewable Fuels industry in Come by Chance.
The company is getting a loan of $25-million from government to support maintaining the workforce and cover other costs.
Braya says its commercial operations have been affected by changes to the tax credit programs in the United States. The company shut down Come by Chance in January, but resumed operations in June.
The company has about 240 employees at its Newfoundland plant.
