The minister of education does not think that errors in the Education Accord will damage the credibility of the project.
A number of references and corresponding citations were found to be inaccurate, but the co-authors of the report say those occurred during the final editing and formatting process. Those mistakes are being corrected, and the document will be updated.
Minister Bernard Davis is unsure how to account for the errors. He says there are some 450 citations and the errors account for a small fraction of those.
He does not know if the mistakes were caused by human error or by other means. He insists that they do not call into question the integrity of the report.
