It’s the first day on the campaign trail for the leaders of the province’s major political parties.
Both the PCs and the NDP are starting their days in St. John’s.
Tory leader Tony Wakeham is kicking things off by making a healthcare announcement on Pippy Place at 10 a.m.
A half hour later, NDP leader Jim Dinn will be at the site of the new acute care hospital in Kenmount Crossing to announce their plans to ban corporate and union donations for all political parties.
Liberal leader John Hogan, meanwhile, will be in Happy Valley-Goose Bay for an announcement, the details of which are not yet known.
