RCMP are hoping the public can help in identifying a motorcycle driver who failed to stop for officers on the Trans-Canada over the supper hour on Saturday.
Police noticed two motorcycles travelling at “dangerous speeds” near Butter Pot Park around 5:00 p.m. Saturday and attempted to pull them over.
One of the motorcycles stopped, but the other fled.
Police say one of the bikes was clocked at speeds of up to 155 km/h while the other was travelling at speeds upwards of 168 km/h.
The driver who stopped, a 22-year-old Paradise man, was ticketed, and has lost his licence. His machine was seized and impounded.
RCMP are now trying to identify the other biker and have released images in hopes that the public can offer some assistance.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
