A 29-year-old man has been charged after allegedly stealing a cart-load of items from a store in the east end.

RNC were called to the store on Aberdeen Avenue around 9:20 last night after staff spotted the man leaving with unpaid items.

Officers tracked down the suspect who was hiding out behind the dumpsters with the cart full of items.

The man, who was already wanted on an outstanding warrant, was charged with theft and breaches of court orders.

He was taken to the lockup.
