Patients at the Janeway in St. John’s will be able park for free tomorrow as part of an initiative by Irving Oil.
The company is celebrating 23 years of its Fuel the Care program, an initiative in which fuel gift cards have been given to families with children requiring medical care.
Since 2002, $6.8-million has been put into the program, with over 120,000 families getting gift cards.
As part of the leadup to Fuel the Care day on Thursday, Irving Oil will be offering free parking to patients at The Janeway on Wednesday.
