There were no injuries in a dramatic crash at the intersection of Mount Scio and Allandale Road just before 8:00 last night.

RNC say a light pole was also broken off in the collision.

The crash resulted in the temporary closure of the intersection while investigators attended to the scene and the debris was cleared from the road.

No charges have been laid.
