Two men have been charged after contraband tobacco was seized after they were pulled over near South Brook.
The vehicle, which police say was driving erratically, was pulled over just after 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
The RCMP say contraband tobacco was found inside the vehicle.
The driver, a 34-year-old from the Goulds, was released at the scene and will appear in Grand Falls-Windsor Provincial Court at a later date.
The passenger in the vehicle, a 34-year-old Bishop’s Falls man, was found to have a warrant for his arrest related to three charges of theft under $5,000. He was arrested at the scene.
The investigation is continuing.
