Despite what police say were multiple warnings given, a 15-year-old was ticketed for driving a dirt bike without a valid licence.

RCMP say the teen was noticed driving dangerously by an officer on patrol on Minnesota Drive in Stephenville.

The officer pulled the young driver over and found that they had already been given three previous warnings about driving dangerously and without insurance.

A ticket was issued for driving an off-road vehicle without insurance, the machine was impounded and the parents were called to take the teen home.
